Why is Liturgical Art important and how can it help me spiritually? Visio Divina is the practice of "spiritual seeing" and, just as spiritual reading deepens our relationship with God, by meditating on the imagery of the Liturgy we find our way into ever greater depths in our sacramental relationship with God and each other. This evening will explore key aspects of liturgical theology and how Liturgical Art is not only a unique expression of the sacred mysteries, but an invaluable aid to our life in Christ. The work of Liturgical Artist George R. Hoelzeman, OblSB, KHS, MTS will be featured along side examples of Liturgical Art ancient and contemporary.
