Liturgical Consulting
Liturgical consultancy is more than merely offering advice. It requires the consultant to be intimately engaged with your community as they undertake a formative journey which culminates with renewed vigor in the community's liturgical life. G.R.Hoelzeman Studios offers assistance in this experience as your community forms a planning team, deepens their liturgical understanding and experience, forms their new worship environment, and begins their liturgical relationship with that space. Liturgical Design
Liturgical design is never merely decorative, but facilitates the communal encounter with God. The liturgical designer must be conversant with the artistic and architectural heritage of the Church. They must also be sensitive to the gifts and genius of our own time. G.R.Hoelzeman Studios references a wealth of historical information and precedents when working with any design process. We are also attentive to the unique heritage and spiritual needs of a particular community. G.R.Hoelzeman Studios offers assistance with design development, artist selection, and the commissioning process. [ Request Information... ]
Liturgical Artwork
To create an object or image which bears the weight of mystery and facilitates a people's sacramental encounter with God is a profound and humbling privilege. The Church has always treasured her artists and celebrated the gift of their creative skill. The life infused by the handwork of the artist has always set quality liturgical art apart from the lifeless products of the factory. George R. Hoelzeman is privileged to share in the Church's great tradition of Sacred Art and has twice received the prestigious BENE Award for excellence in liturgical art. The creative services of G.R.Hoelzeman Studios centers around a collaborative process with the client community. Through careful listening and evaluation of the community's hopes and dreams, sacred artworks are created which embody the spiritual and cultural heritage of the community, yet speak with the voice of the Church universal.
